Barefoot Resort
About Barefoot Resort
Hidden in a lush-green forest of indigenous Mahua trees, adjoining the world renowned Radhanagar Beach lies the luxurious Barefoot at Havelock Jungle Resort. Its 19 exquisitely designed thatch and wood cottages are categorised into two types – Nicobari Cottages and Andaman Villas and come with great interiors, basic furniture and en-suite bathrooms. However, you should bear in mind that these huts are made of natural material (which intend to attract insects) and are not equipped with TVs and/or intercoms – giving you a real taste of the solace in the islands. Laundry services and car parking is also available at the resort. While you are here, you can also avail the services of their Ayurvedic Massage Centre.
Their in-house restaurant serves lip-smacking Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. Enjoy the evening dining in this hideaway all while listening to soulful jazz and lounge music and treating yourself to the freshest seafood.

Frequently asked questions
Do hotels in Andaman offer free Wi-Fi and mobile connectivity?
Basic Wi-Fi is available in most mid-range and luxury hotels, but internet speed can be slow, especially on islands like Havelock and Neil. Mobile connectivity is patchy outside Port Blair, with BSNL and Airtel being the most reliable.
Is it better to book hotels in advance or after reaching Andaman?
Advance booking is highly recommended, especially during peak season (December–March). Budget travelers might find walk-in options, but choices are limited and prices are higher last minute.
Can unmarried couples stay in hotels in Andaman?
Yes, most hotels in Andaman allow unmarried couples as long as both guests carry valid government-issued photo IDs. It's best to double-check policies for smaller homestays or lodges.
What are the check-in and check-out times in most hotels?
Most hotels in Andaman follow a 12:00 PM check-in and 10:00 AM check-out policy, but timings may vary. Some properties allow early check-in or late check-out based on availability.
Do hotels in Andaman accept digital payments and cards?
Yes, most hotels accept UPI, credit/debit cards, and cash. However, on remote islands, it’s wise to carry some cash, as internet outages may affect digital payment systems.
