Greenwood Island resort is the most comfortable place you can stay at in Little Andaman. It is far from typical luxurious resort, but if you are looking for a crispy clean room with attached bathroom and AC, you have hit the jackpot. They have only five rooms though, two of them with AC and one single. Booking in advance is advisable in high season. Greenwood island resort is conveniently located in Hut Bay in walking distance to the main market. The nearest beach is at the jetty or Harminder Bay. A very friendly family runs the place and they are eager to help you out with (almost) all your needs. They organize plenty of adventure activities such as jungle trekking, mangrove forest boat rides, fishing and surfing. You can also rent surfboards and they can help you out with motorbike or scooter rents. If you are not staying here their restaurant is worth a visit as they serve delicious (and affordable) homemade dishes and fresh juices upon order.
