About Sea Shell Neil Island
Seashell is the first and only ‘luxury resort’ in Neil island. It is a property of the Seashell chain of hotels and resorts (there is a Seashell on Havelock and Port Blair) and caters to those who do not mind splurging on comfort.
This resort has two types of accommodation: AC Tents and AC Concrete cottages both with attached bathrooms. They are all very spacious with double bed rooms and western equipment – TV, mini bar, coffee and tea making machines. The beach is so close; the sound of the sea can be heard while you are sleeping.
The resort is set in the middle of an eco-friendly vegetable and herb garden with a restaurant that serves breakfast and buffet dinner. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from including a bar, which serves mostly beer.
Just across the garden there is a beach with some mangroves, but swimming is possible only at high tide.
Seashell is popular among Indian honeymooners.
