About the activity
Astanga Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga that was developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and T. Krishnamacharya in the 20th century. The session will start with Pranayama, conscious breathing exercises. It will then continue with assisted Ashtanga vinyasa, a sequence of asanas for an hour and a half. With body warmed up and lightly stretched you will then be gradually led to practice standing asanas, sitting asanas and backbends. The session will be wrapped up with few restorative poses and a 10 minute Shavasana with 5-minute meditation and Sanskrit chanting. You will then be part of a group picture while you sip some herbal tea along with some healthy snacks

MYOHO YOGA STUDIO
MYOHO YOGA STUDIO is started in 2019 by Jasleen Chawla, with the aim to share her passion for yoga and its benefits to people visiting Andaman. The studio is set in her beautiful location overlooking Port Blair Cityscape.
About the Instructor
Jasleen’s passion for yoga started five years back in 2014 and for her, this was a starting point for spirituality as well. Her passion for yoga grew along with her interest in yoga asanas, so she learned and practiced under various masters in Delhi.
She earned her 200-hour training certificate by ” Yoga Alliance International” in 2015 in “Hatha yoga”. She got her 33-hour training certificate in “Vinyasa karma yoga” in 2017 by the great master Srivatsa Ramaswami from Chennai. She then went on to do her 500-hour training certificate with yogini Seema sondhiji in “Ashtanga vinyasa” in 2018. She has also attended many workshops in “Iyengar yoga” to expand her knowledge of alignment-based teaching style.
