The Wild Orchid is a popular resort among travellers and packages tourist looking for a relaxing holiday in a pleasant and comfortable environment far from the city.
They offer two types of cottages built in authentic Andamanese style, dotted in the lush garden not far away from the charming beach No. 5. The log-style cottages are well furnished with a big double baldachin bed, basic furniture and clean en-suite bathrooms with hot water. The newer Styled rooms offer all that but have more of a hotel feel to it with the white walls and huge double beds. All rooms have AC, but it is possible to book a cheaper option without the AC usage. Each room at the Wild Orchid is tastefully decorated with seashells, bamboo and cane. Every cottage has a small sit out area with wooden chairs and hammocks perfect for a lazy 
afternoon.

In the resort complex one can find a bar and one of the most expensive restaurants on Havelock offering delicious multi cuisine dishes and fresh grilled seafood on the spacious covered terrace. They often organise dance evenings or parties with DJs trying to revive the rather dull island’s nightlife. They also have an in-house Ayurveda Spa offering ayurvedic oil massages and their own professional diving centre Andaman Bubbles not far from the resort.

But the major plus staying at the Wild Orchid is their dedicated staff. They are friendly and very helpful. Whatever you need they will try to provide and deliver it with a smile. All in all, Wild Orchid is far from a budget resort, as the prices can get high especially in peak season, but for the price you pay you know exactly what you get and you can be sure they will not let you down.
