What to Do at Diglipur?
North Andaman Island is like an enormous outdoor adventure amusement park specially designed for nature lovers. There are a whole lot of places to be explored around Diglipur. From climbing the highest peak in the Saddle Peak National Park, to trekking in the midst of unspoiled rainforest reaching a cluster of amazing 41 caves, called Alfred Caves. Of course there are the pristine beaches offering swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing, though sand flies can be quite annoying at pursuing the last activity. The famous Ross and Smith Islands have a mind-blowing turquoise swimming pool lagoon on one side and a snorkeling paradise on the other. There is some great snorkeling also between Kalipur beach and the small Craggy Island but if you need to be careful about tide timings else you may encounter jellyfish.
