Go2Andaman Tips – Havelock Island Jetty

  • Book your return ferry in advance, especially during long weekends or holidays—return tickets from Havelock often sell out first.
  • You may find shared jeeps or bike rentals at better prices just 100m away from the jetty gate than from vendors right outside.
  • Sunsets are beautiful near the jetty, so if you’re waiting around, consider taking a short stroll to the nearby coastal edge.
  • Power cuts are common on the island, so carry a power bank in case your phone dies before your ferry.
  • If you’re on a diving trip, don’t schedule a ferry right after your last dive—you need at least 12-18 hours of surface time.
  • Keep your hotel contact saved offline in case you need to coordinate pick-up after arrival.
  • Keep some small cash handy—autos and local stalls often don’t accept UPI or cards..
