Lalaji Bay View Hotels’ restaurant is one of the few rooftop places in Port Blair and offers a completely different dining experience. Interiors and infrastructure wise it isn’t much, but if you fancy a drink with a tasty meal, this is the place for you. Mainly, an international crowd visits the restaurant and the vibe is rather friendly and laid back.
The place offers all sorts of continental dishes with the usual Indian fare as well as excellent grilled seafood and Pancakes. Grilled prawns are yummy and the banana pancakes are one of the best in Port Blair. They serve fresh juices and lassis, decent coffee and chilled beer. Paid but slow wifi is available on request.
Though the service can get slow, time passes quickly as you chat with friendly travelers and exchange some travel tips. We highly recommend this place to all backpackers and budget travelers.
